(Wikipedia) Which really makes the whole story of Joseph folklore; a primitive culture’s attempt to explain natural phenomena.
Here we go again with the divination! What’s the significant difference between that and witchcraft? Divination: the practice of attempting to foretell future events or discover hidden knowledge by occult or supernatural means. Witchcraft: the art or practices of a witch; sorcery; magic. So why is it ok for Joseph, but not for women (Exodus 22:18).
V 5 – “But don’t be upset, and don’t be angry with yourselves for selling me to this place. It was God who sent me here ahead of you to preserve your lives.” What does this say about free will?
