Day 178

Psalms 74-77

Psalm 74#74

Another rant against god. The author reflects on the tales of Yahweh’s former power and glory, and asks why he is not making himself known now. He begs god to show up and help. The enemy has sacked Jerusalem and destroyed the temple, and still god doesn’t reappear or do anything about it. Sadly, that about sums it up. Psalm 74

#75

Another plea for god to punish the wicked. zzzzz

#76

Yahweh’s power is awesome and greatly to be feared. zzzzz

#77

Another lament from someone who’s lonely, depressed, and powerless, looking for an imaginary friend. Kind of sad, really.
