Attend A Meeting
We hold our regular monthly meetings from September through May, generally on a Saturday. Meetings are open to the general public. Regular meetings usually include a guest speaker, and we order individual meals from the meeting venue (optional).
Meetings are free to attend; however, we do pass the hat to collect donations to cover the cost of the meeting space.
For details on upcoming meetings, please see the Events page. Unless otherwise noted, our monthly meetings take place at the Canad Inn Polo Park, 1405 St. Matthews Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, and start at 5:30 p.m.
In June and December, instead of meetings, we celebrate the Solstices, with a picnic (summer) and party (winter).
Our Annual General Meeting, when we elect executive team members, is held each January.
Become a Member:
Annual memberships are based on a calendar year and are renewable each January.
Annual fees are currently:
- Individual – $30
- Individual Limited income – $10
- Household – $50
- Household Limited Income – $15
How to Join! (or renew)
1) Use the Paypal option below.
Please provide the following information along with your payment:
- your name and the names of the all the Humanists in your household (if it’s a family membership)
- address, phone number(s), and email address(es)
You can put this information in the “Note To Seller” box on the Paypal page.
2) Attend a Meeting. Any of our executive members will be able to accept your membership form and payment.
3) Use the Membership Form below. Checks can be mailed to the address listed on the form.
Special Offer for New Members!
If you are a NEW member joining for the FIRST TIME, and you join after September 1st, your membership fee will include membership for the upcoming calendar year.

The newsletter is mailed from our website email address. Email domains are very sensitive these days because of spammers, so it could be blocked and redirected to your spam or junk folder by accident. One way to avoid this in the future is by adding firstname.lastname@example.org to your allowed / safe sender’s list.
We never share or reveal the names of those on our mailing list and will never spam you.
